Leaving care support

The leaving care service works with care experienced young people leaving care aged 16 – 25.

Just because you are leaving care, or have already left care, we haven’t stopped caring about you. We want to make sure that you feel safe and supported and know where and who to go to for advice and help. Our care leaver offer describes all the support available to young people who have left care.

You are expected to contact your own personal advisor in the first instance.

When you own personal advisor is not available, a duty worker is available. You can see the duty worker Monday to Thursday: 9am - 4.30pm and Friday: 9am - 4pm at Connexions Service, 2 Wellington Street, Leicester, LE1 6HL.
