Time to Change

Time to Change Leicester aims to end the stigma and discrimination faced by people with mental health problems in our city.

Time to Change Leicester Hub 2019-2020

We have been awarded £25,000 of funding from the national charity Time to Change to help combat mental health stigma in our communities. Leicester and 13 other funded hubs across England, are aiming to make a nationwide effort to change the way we think and act about mental health problems. The hub is a partnership with the Richmond Fellowship and local Time to Change champions, and will work to combat the stigma faced by people experiencing mental health problems in communities, workplaces and schools across the city.

Information about upcoming campaigns and events will be shared here and on the Richmond Fellowship: Leicestershire Life Links website.

Time to Change Champions

If you want to be involved with the campaign you can sign up to become a Time to Change Champion. Champions are people who have lived with experience of mental health problems, who want to make a difference in their local communities and change perceptions about mental health. You can find out more about becoming a Time to Change Champion on the Time to Change website.
