These courses, delivered by experienced local artists, will teach you how to make a range of beautiful jewellery using wide and varied techniques.
You will learn how to safely use a range of tools and a variety of wire working techniques to produce pieces of bead and wire jewellery. Using a range of wires, you will learn and practice cutting, shaping, manipulating wires and incorporating beads. Having learned the techniques, you will design and make individual pieces of jewellery to your own taste.
You will learn to safely use traditional silversmithing techniques to produce a piece of jewellery. Using a variety of metals, you will learn and practice filing, drilling, soldering, piercing and decorating by adding texture. Having learned the techniques, you will design and make an individual piece of jewellery.
