A practical course for beginners to understand and practice the art of making clothes or accessories from commercial patterns. You will be introduced to the workings of the sewing machine and learn how to read and lay a pattern on to your chosen fabric. You will be shown a range of construction techniques and design features required for shaping, fastening and finishing garments, clothing and accessories.
