As well as books to borrow, we offer a self-service access to council services. It's free and easy to join so why not come along?

Self-service facility

You can use the self-service facility at Beaumont Leys Library to do the following:

  • scan proofs to support applications for housing and housing benefit
  • use freephones to talk to our services including housing officers, housing benefit, housing options and council tax
  • use self-service computers to log on to our website and apply for services including:
    • housing
    • housing benefits
    • parking permits
    • blue badge
    • council tax.

Computers and internet

Accessibility

The library is all on one level and has a wide entrance, an induction loop and an accessible toilet. We also have a large text keyboard and track ball mouse.

For Children and Young People

  • Children's books for all ages, from babies to young adults
  • Toddler time every Thursday 9:30 - 11am.
  • Homework help on Mondays from 3.30 – 6.30pm (term time)
