Leicester reopening guidance and plan
As businesses begin to reopen and people return to their workplace and retail shopping, we have produced practical advice and guidance based on national government guidelines. We are ensuring the streets are clean and people feel confident to visit. We are also widening narrow pavements for pedestrians, wheelchair and mobility vehicle users where practical. We are continuing to provide signage and information to help people keep a safe distance apart.
Advice and guidance for businesses
The 12 guides cover a range of different types of work such as restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes and takeaways as well as hairdressers, beauticians, tattooists, guest accommodation and shops. You may need to use more than one of these guides as you think through what you need to do to keep people safe. Further guidance will be published as more businesses are able to reopen.
