Armed Forces Champion

A message from Vi Dempster, Assistant City Mayor, our current 2019-2020 Armed Forces Champion.

I am delighted to have been appointed to be the Armed Forces Champion at Leicester City Council.

I am currently a councillor for Beaumont Leys ward and the Assistant City Mayor for Health. I also represent the council on the East Midlands Reserve Forces and Cadet Association.

Our officer champion is Miranda Cannon who is supported by Matthew Reeves and together they are responsible for the development and delivery of the strategy to meet our covenant commitments.
