Smile Awards

2019 Smile Award winners

The Smile Awards have been set up to celebrate people and organisations based in Leicester, who have helped improve oral health through creative and innovative projects and practices.

Thank you for all your nominations for the Smile Awards. Candidates for each award were shortlisted and given a score from a panel of judges. We had a great response with more than 2,500 votes cast in total.

2019 Smile Award winners

The winners of the 2019 Smile Awards were announced at an awards ceremony, that took place at the Leicester Tigers Stadium on Wednesday 5 June 2019.

The winners are as follows:

  • Imperial Avenue Infant School

Community Champion Award

  • Sufiya Ebrahim

Public Health Nurse (or Practitioner) Award

  • Healthy Child Programme Practitioner Team (Leicestershire Partnership Trust).
