We work with people from all types of background to help them into first time employment or to get back into work.

You can access employment support in a number of ways across Leicester.

Pre-employment support

Leicester Employment Hub partners with Futures Advice, Skills and Employment to provide support to get job-ready. Find out more about pre-employment on the Leicester Employment Hub website which is linked above. 

Leicester Adult Skills and Learning Service (LASALS)

LASALS offers a range of part-time adult education courses at learning centres across the city. More information is available on the LASALS website which is linked above.

Healthy Working Futures

The Leicestershire Healthy Working Futures (formerly Fit For Work) service provides personalised back-to-work support to people unable to attend work on health grounds after an absence of four to 12 weeks. 

The service looks at all routes to recovery rather than just medical solutions, and clients are referred from GPs and practice therapists.
