Braunstone Library

The library has books to borrow, free access to computers, self-service kiosks and information. It's free and easy to join so why not come along?

Computers and internet

Accessibility

The library is all on one level and has disabled parking, a wide entrance, an induction loop and an accessible toilet. We also have a large text keyboard and track ball mouse.

For Children and Young People

  • Children's books for all ages, from babies to young adults
  • Toddler time every Wednesday 9.30am - 11.30am. We have two sessions, 0-2 years and 2-5 years that run alternate weeks. Please contact the library for session dates.
  • Homework help on Tuesday and Thursday 3.30pm –  6.30pm (term time)
  • Baby changing facilities

Community room hire

Room hire is available for a small hourly charge. We offer community rooms with accessible toilet and a hall with stage for larger events. For further information please contact a member of staff at the BRITE Centre or complete the online enquiry form.
